We are delighted to announce that our NEW Black Chalk Wild Rose 2016 has been awarded SILVER in the prestigious Sommelier Wine Awards 2019.
Tasting Notes: Team leader Charlie Young described Wild Rose as ‘super-light in colour with gently perfumed red fruit. Nice and dry with good complexity; there’s lots of interest here. The finish is fresh, elegantly berry-like and moreish.’ ‘A great bottle,’ added Tanguy Martin of New Street Warehouse.
The bad news is our 2015 Wild Rose is now SOLD OUT, it has been hugely popular and received so many kind words. The good news is the follow up has been described like this -'The acidity and minerality - chalky - are super-charged and clenched with tension. White-knuckle ride.... Electric...OUTSTANDING.' by Jancisrobinson.com, The Black Chalk, Wild Rose 2016 is on sale now.
