WILD - Spring Supper Club success

We enjoyed a fantastic evening in the Black Chalk Tasting Room on Saturday 23rd March with Eat Wild, celebrating the diverse world of wild meats!

The WILD Spring Supper Club marked the first in an exciting series of seasonal Black Chalk Supper Club events, with themed rotating guest collaborations brining new flavours to the tasting table! Leon and Louisa from Eat Wild crafting an amazing Supper Club menu for us, highlighting how accessible this type of food offering can be.

Eat Wild, the marketing arm of the British Game Association, are passionate about redefining the culinary landscape by introducing more people to wild meats and we felt that spring, with its vibrant energy and renewal, offered the perfect opportunity for our guests to experience something new!

The dishes were absolutely delicious, beautifully presented and paired perfectly with our Dancer in Pink still rosé, creating the perfect atmosphere for a fun and informal celebration of all things WILD!

The menu included; Partridge Arancini with Wild Garlic and Wild Mushrooms, Venison Dog Loaded with Pulled Venison and Crispy Onions, Kentucky Fried Pheasant with Barbecued Corn on the Cob, Jerk Venison with a Jamaican Slaw and Compressed Watermelon, and Chocolate Rice Pudding with Burnt Orange and Poached Rhubarb.

We will have more Supper Club dates throughout the summer, make sure you keep up to date with our event announcements through our newsletter and social accounts.
